At First United Methodist Church-Commerce, expect to be welcomed. By a smile, a handshake or even a hug, you will feel the hospitality we offer when you walk in the door. At FUMC-Commerce, no one is a stranger and everyone is welcome.
Whether you are joining us for worship or a special study or event, you are always welcome.
FUMC-C is located directly on State Highway 24, across from the Texas A&M University-Commerce campus.
For worship and most events, it is easiest to enter either through the main sanctuary doors, the door next to the church office, or ramp entrance—all of these sets of door face the main parking lot right off the frontage road of HWY 24.

Parking:
We have a large parking lot with plenty of parking for everyone.
What to Wear:
Come as you are. Our members and guests wear what they find comfortable. We love you for who you are, not what you are wearing.
Worship Style:
We offer a traditional service with organ music, our Chancel Choir, hymns, and relevant scripture-based messages.
Childcare:
Children ages 4 through 8 are invited to attend Sunday School, which is held during the worship service. Youth entering grades 6 through 12 are welcome to join the youth group which meets after worship at 11:00. Childcare for younger children is not available at this time.
